Here are a few websites that have been entrusted to me for maintenance, upgrades and some basic design changes. Many times this includes transferring a website and/or domain name from one hosting company to another or from one webmaster to another. It can be a complicated process, but keeping your website up-to-date and easily accessible is a must.
My friend Judith Way asked me to help her with two existing websites: Idyllwild PIlates & Massage and Wise Women of… . Judith’s studio is dedicated to Pilates and Massage, and she has written one book and plans more in her Wise Women of… series. This first book is Wise Women of a Small Village, about the women of Fallbrook, California. The second book, in the works now, is Wise Women of Idyllwild. She also plans a third book, Wise Women of Africa. Go Judi!
Dr. Lloyd Stenbeck approached me to help him to add ecommerce to his website dedicated to self-healing. Dr. Stenbeck has been helping people to heal themselves for most of his lengthy career, and the benefit of his years of expertise is available on his website including his book, videos, and direct communications.
Sandii had an old website that hadn’t been updated for a while. She wanted to move the website from one hosting company to another, and set it up so that she could go in and update her performance schedule and make other changes to the site. She was already selling her CDs on CDbaby, so we added a user-friendly website account with Hostbaby, a CDbaby affiliate. I helped her setup the original template, add images and video, and make the transition.
Will Lowry, owner of Idyllwild Mountain Realty, asked me if I could help him keep his real estate website up to date. His old webmaster was no longer available. Will handles a variety of homes, ranging from cabins to mountain mansions. With a real estate website, as with all websites, really, it is extremely important to keep the information current and accurate.
